Consent first, and enforced
Every participant is asked, on the record, whether their words may be shared. The answer is recorded, coded, and enforced by the platform itself: a voice that declined can't be quoted, anywhere, by anyone.
Real research depends on real trust. CrowdVox is built so participants share honestly and organizations get insight, without ever trading away anyone's privacy. And where most platforms promise, ours enforces.
Every participant is asked, on the record, whether their words may be shared. The answer is recorded, coded, and enforced by the platform itself: a voice that declined can't be quoted, anywhere, by anyone.
Participants join by PIN, not by name. Insights are built from what people say, not who they are. We don't track browsing, scrape profiles, or collect anything the research doesn't require.
Participants can pause, decline any question, or stop at any time. Customers control access and deletion. Nobody's data is sold, shared with third parties for their own use, or used to train models for anyone else.
CrowdVox interviews are candid by design. That honesty deserves protection at every step of the research process, so we built the protections into the pipeline itself, not just the policy.
Before an interview begins, participants hear who is asking, what the conversation is for, and how their words may be used, in plain language. At the end, they are asked explicitly whether short excerpts may be shared.
The answer is recorded in their own voice and coded four ways: yes, no, partial, or unclear. Anything other than a clear yes is treated as a no for publication.
Consent isn't a policy note here; it's a technical gate. Every quote in every report, dashboard, and answer the platform generates is automatically checked against the speaker's recorded consent before it can be published.
When a participant declines, their words never appear, even when theirs is the single most powerful quote of the night. The system gives up the best material to honor a no. That's the point.
Participants verify by six-digit PIN. Reporting uses first names at most, with light demographic context, and never details that could make someone identifiable. An anonymized reporting mode removes even that.
All research panels are adults. Recruitment partners verify age before anyone reaches an interview.
Findings are reported at group level, never individual level, and groups that get too small to be safely anonymous are automatically suppressed from published statistics.
Where a group is small but still worth reporting, it is labeled as directional, so a reader can't mistake a handful of voices for a population.
Participants can pause or end an interview at any moment, decline any question, and request that their conversation be deleted after the fact.
Withdrawal requests are honored across recordings, transcripts, and derived insights.
If it's in quotation marks, it was said. Every quoted passage is machine-verified, word for word, against the source transcript before publication. Nothing is invented, and paraphrase is never dressed up as quotation.
CrowdVox interviews are conducted by an AI interviewing assistant, and it says so, by name, at the start of every conversation. Participants always know they are speaking with an AI, on whose behalf, and why. We believe candid answers require a candid interviewer.
Your research archive is yours. CrowdVox gives your team the tools to govern it, and the guarantees to back them up.
Role-based permissions decide who can view raw transcripts versus aggregated insights, scoped strictly to your organization. Every access is logged with a traceable ID.
Your data is never sold, never shared with third parties for their own purposes, and never used to train models that serve other customers. AI models run under enterprise terms that prohibit training on your data. Full stop.
Delete conversations, studies, or your entire archive on request. Deletion propagates across active systems, with retention and backup-expiry commitments documented in your data processing agreement.
Export your transcripts, themes, and insight briefs in standard formats whenever you want. Leaving should be as easy as joining; your archive comes with you.
Practices designed around GDPR and CCPA, with data processing agreements, subject-access request support, and subprocessor disclosures provided to every customer as part of their agreement.
Our methodology follows established standards for human-subjects research: transparency, voluntary participation, fair compensation, and respect for every voice in the archive.
Privacy controls work hand-in-hand with the platform's technical safeguards. See Security for how CrowdVox protects data at the infrastructure level.
